Josh has been teaching golf for 23 years working with players of all ages and skill levels. Josh believes that learning sound physical and mental fundamentals are the building blocks necessary to maximize enjoyment of the experience while striving toward potential as a player. He also believes that the opportunity to build better young people is as important as building better young golfers. He strongly believes that golf is a game meant to be played “HAVING FUN”.
In 2009, Josh founded Good Swings Happen Junior Golf Academy in an effort to provide accessible, affordable, safe, fun and professionally managed golf programs for juniors of all ages and skill levels. Last year he became the Junior Golf Director for FlowCode Academy, a mental game platform aimed to optimize human performance on and off the golf course. He leads a variety of lessons and programs at his indoor Lab location as well as in relationship with local community golf courses.
Josh serves on the SCPGA Teaching Committee and the SCPGA Player Development Committee, he has co-chaired the SCPGA Youth Golf Summit for the past 4 years. Josh was the 2018 SCPGA Youth Player Development Award Recipient and is the 2023
SCPGA Teacher and Coach of the Year.
