Rick Sessinghaus is the Director of FlowCode Golf Academy and swing & golf mental game coach of Collin Morikawa since Collin was eight years old. Â He is the expert on the mindset principles that make or break performance on and off the course. His coaching has helped top junior, collegiate, and professional golfers reach new levels of performance.
Long intrigued by the fact that physical skills were rarely the determining factor in athletic success, he studied the mental and emotional skills that make or break a performance. Adding to his Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications, Rick received his Masters and Doctorate Degree in Applied Sports Psychology.
Rick co-founded FlowCode Golf Academy with the purpose of helping others realize their full potential and live their dreams.
Rick Sessinghaus and FlowCode Director of the Junior Academy, Josh Alpert visited Brookhaven Country Club in Farmer’s Branch, Texas, to deliver insights on the mental game in golf. Over twenty junior golfers from the Dallas area engaged in a full day of activities, including classroom learning, drills on both the driving range and putting green, and practical application on the course.
The weather on that day presented numerous challenges for the golfers, throwing various conditions at them simultaneously. Despite these obstacles, the adverse weather conditions provided an opportunity for the junior golfers to put into practice the mental game tools they had learned earlier in the day.
The journey of a golfer is an extensive one, demanding mastery of multiple skillsets. The team at FlowCode provides a valuable set of resources that can help golfers stand out and achieve peak performance, especially in stressful situations.
This event marks the beginning of a partnership between Reel Athlete and FlowCode, with many more events planned in the future.
